One day, Liam had an awesome idea. He combined mayonnaise and all sorts of herbs to his leftover cuts of chicken that had not been sold during the business day. The result? An extremely delicious concoction of heavenly chicken delight. A star was born!

Did you know that Chicken Salad was not really invented in the U.S.? It was actually invented in China. That’s right. It is believed that Chicken Salad was not actually a traditional Chinese dish. However, it is thought to have come about out of Pan-Chinese cuisine. They don’t really know when the first chicken salad sandwich broke out onto the dining scene! Interestingly enough, Chicken Salad has become one of the most widely used recipes for Americans at picnics, family reunions, and other such get-togethers. Chicken Salad is also very versatile. A person could do just about anything to the recipe to enhance it or to make it suit their own tastes. There are thousands of variations to chicken salad recipes. Which one is your favorite?
It’s All in the Ingredients!
In order for this recipe to be just right, you need to buy all fresh ingredients. The ingredients are as follows:
½ cup light mayonnaise
2 tablespoons of cider vinegar
2 cloves garlic (crushed)
3 tablespoons fresh dill (chopped)
1 pound of boneless, skinless chicken breast (cooked and chopped)
¼ cup of Feta cheese (crumbled)
½ cup of red bell pepper (finely chopped)
How to prepare…
Blend mayonnaise and cider vinegar in a small bowl. Now add the crushed garlic and fresh chopped dill. Refrigerate this material overnight. The next day, take the boneless, skinless chicken breast and blend it together with the chilled dressing. Add the Feta cheese and the red bell peppers. Mix it all again. Plate with ciabatta bread, your favorite sandwich roll or pita bread and a lettuce leaf. Serve chilled of course.
